January 2019 Recipes

 

 

     Wow, I can’t believe it’s 2019. because I’m in the middle of basketball season, I tried to stay focused and eat somewhat healthy over the holidays.  Although, I definitely didn’t eat enough vegetables, I did overindulge in the many holiday cookies. What was I to do? My cul-de-sac has an annual holiday cookie exchange and there are some good bakers on my block.  Every time I walked past the kitchen island, those cookies called my name. Time to reboot!  My food goals for the month:

 

    1.    Eat a lot of vegetables.

 

    2.    Find a healthier cookie so I can slowly withdraw from my cookie habit.
